Depressed Symptoms & three Guaranteed Ways to Cure Depression Forever
Before you can begin to stop depression, you must first start off by understanding what causes depression and what the depressed symptoms are. This is the very first, if not the most important step in defeating depression.
So what causes depression?
Well, depression can be caused by a number of things, some of which you have 100% control of and some of which you do not.
Here are a great deal of the causes:
Biochemical makeup (your brain has neurotransmitters which generally act as on/off switches for happiness and depression) Heredity (if someone in your family has depression, then you are 2 times as likely to get depression yourself) Psychological makeup (things such as long-term abuse as a child and neglect add to your risk factor of becoming depressed as a teenager and an adult) Changing hormone levels (pre-menstrual syndrome, menopause) Stressful life events (a bad breakup or divorce, loss of a job or death of a family or friend) Alcohol or drug abuse Getting “burned out” (becoming over-demanded or over-worked)
So now that you know what some of the causes for being depressed are, let’s discover some of the depressed symptoms:
Thoughts of suicide irritability uncontrollable crying difficulty sleeping lack of motivation weight gain or weight loss inability to concentrate negative thinking fatigue loss of pleasure
Do these sound familiar to you? If you answered yes to them then you are probably suffering from some form of depression. The good news though is that feeling this way isn’t permanent. Here are just a few ways of getting rid of your depression:
Now this is a very important section of this article. Put yourself first. What used to make you happy? Obviously you cannot just force yourself to start liking something again but if you could find the little things that used to make you smile, you will be just that much closer to smiling permanently. Also, take time out from your busy work or school schedule and plan something fun like seeing a baseball game or taking a short vacation. Exercise and eat healthy. I know what you are thinking, when you are down in the dumps, there’s nothing you want more than to just indulge in your favorite junk food. Well here’s the thing: that works – for a short time only. What you can do instead is work out, whether you go for a short jog or walk your dog, exercise releases therapeutic endorphins into your brain which has been proven to be just as effective as antidepressants at making you happy again. So not only will you be healthy, but you will be healthy and look good in the long run. Reach out to friends and family. Obviously we always have times when we’re going to argue with loved ones, but what about when you guys are all together and there’s no drama, no fighting, just love. This is what you are aiming for. There are few times that make people happier than spending time with friends and family, so reach out to them. Let them know how you are feeling I guarantee if you love them and they love you back, it will be almost impossible for them NOT to reach back out to you and lift you above your depression.

What are simple ways to cure depression? Hello. I can't help but be depressed. I’ve many great people in my life who love me, but i can't seem to love myself. My depression has gotten very severe. I want to help myself. Are there any ways to help without going to therapy or pills?
Is marijuana effective at treating suicidal depression? Marijuana is both an upper and a downer so its effects can rather haphazard . One time you might smoke and it’ll make you feel better while the next time it might make you feel worse. Now don't get me wrong i love weed and still use it occasionally but it’s wrong to use it to try treat depression as even if it does help you have nevertheless done nothing to deal with your depression and have merely run away from it. The thing is you should learn to deal with depression properly and without the help of drugs or you’ll find it nearly impossible to deal with it in the future without having to resort to drugs. My advice would be to take up meditation as not only does it help calm you down and make you less depressed it also helps you come to terms and deal with the real cause of the depression. There are a ton of guides on meditation on the net and i would advise you to look up ones from buddhism as those people have spent over 2 millenia honing the art. The only thing is it’s not as easy as simply taking a drug and will take you a week or 3 of perseverance and everyday practice to start getting somewhere. But like all things that are worth it it takes some work

No. Studies have actually shown that smoking marijuana increases your risk of developing schizophrenia. It can be easily observed when comparing a pothead to a schizophrenic. They both might see things, think they’re on a mission from God, and often, are both paranoid. It’s true, marijuana is a “downer”–it makes you relax, as opposed to something that makes you wired, like ecstasy. Marijuana makes depression worse when you’ren't high, and you can't possibly manage to be high all the time. I’ve a friend who smokes up every day. He used to be a lot of fun, but now all he cares about is getting high. I tried a couple of times with him but I didn't like it–it amplified my psychotic symptoms I already had, but who knows? If I hadn't smoked that weed, I might have still been okay by now–I'm only 16. Marijuana will only make your suicidal depression worse–even cause you to go through with a suicidal plan. It’sn't a good idea to smoke pot with the levels of THC they've bred since the 70's. You can't get old-school hippie pot anymore (which actually had some anti-psychotic properties). So please stay away from pot. Marijuana will f#^&* you up. Live long and prosper.
