You just have to make sure you stay on your meds and keep up your therapy sessions, because a child will probably worsen your symptoms. Schizophrenia is though to have some kind of genetic influence, but could also be brought on through a trauma. There isnt enough information to tell the chances, keep your baby as safe as you can and keep your symptoms under control, as much as possible anyway. And if you do fall into an “episode” remove yourself so you dont traumatize your child.
